We had just opened up for our first year in business.  We were looking forward to a first year of blissful weddings and events...and then COVID happened. Brides and grooms who had been planning their special days were suddenly faced with lockdowns, restrictions, and an ever-changing array of regulations.

It was a rough first season. We had done all of this work and then found ourselves so limited on what we could provide for couples-it was daunting.  We needed some positivity and wanted to do something to to give back to the community and decided to give back to front line workers by offering five free mini weddings, all coordinated by The Ridge at Greenbluff and an amazing group of vendors. With the help of social media and local station KXLY, the search was on.

Couples entered the giveaway by September 25th. The lucky five were allowed up to 18 guests for a wedding on October 11, and chose between the five time slots: 9-11 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 4:30-6:30 p.m., or 7-9 p.m.

Everything needed in a wedding was included—the venue, ceremony, planning, officiant, DJ, arbor and aisle flowers, personal bouquet for each bride, cutting cake for each couple, drinks, dessert, photography, videography, decorations, hair touch-up, treats for each guest, photo booth, gift bags—even the tux rental for the groom—at no cost.

It was truly a wonderful way to end the Covid wedding season and bring joy to five deserving couples.
